Well today marked the first day of the build! This afternoon I hit the local hardware store for materials and got to work. Special thanks to Bucky and Susanne for their help along the way and a big thank you to my friend Bruce for lending us his framing nailer. We got all of the joist frames nailed up and placed just in time for a bit of rain; so we covered the project to wait it out. Later on we were able to drill and install the 1/2″ galvanized hardware which secure the joist frames to the trailer frame. Tomorrow I hope to frame some rough openings for plumbing, stuff in the R21 insulation, and install the 23/32″ tongue and groove subfloor.
